Real DJs do not use this app. Its a kids toy. Sure if you to ruin any music with a loud obnoxious air horn or siren then go right ahead and have some fun. Real Djs use Traktor or Serrato.

its not optimized for the retina display on my macbook pro nor does it see the metadata and organization of my iTunes libarary.

It is AWESOME!

Tried to download the app. Keeps on failing. Indicates that I must go the Purchases option in AppStore. It is listed there as failed download, but cant reload it. How do i remove this from my AppStore account??

its a cool app but when i updated my mac since then it wont com back on to my computer?!?

Ive been using this on my PC for a couple years now and its been absolutely amazing! Now I use it on my MAC. Great app and easy to use!

I started my career as a Dj, like most producers do, around the age of 15, then moved on to writing & composing music. Ive produced albums for over 20 years now, and decided on doing an EDM Mix tape with tracks from my soon to be released new EDM Album, and this was perfect. Learned the entire software within 10 minutes. Great App; Im back to my roots, and its fun! -Fingerz & Co.

Atomix im having trouble, i was wondering how do u clear the samples

Works good, very useful..I had this a few years ago and after messing with other software I came back around to it. Its great for mixing/cuttin/scratchin and what have you. Plus it has built in effects, samplers (which you can add anything to from iTunes, and built-in samples), cue/loop/mix buttons, and its cool how you can scratch with your mouse on it if you want. Much better than Mixxx in my opion. Thanks dev! More recording/sharing/upload options would be nice as well.

Pros: Its awesome, everything you need to start djing. cons: Add more skins, and effects! My headphones dont work idk why?

Why am I only allowed to play 30s of audio all of a sudden unless I buy Premium? There is no longer a point in having this application, it was amazing then, but now it is a useless tool.

Why is this app still in the store?! Doesn’t Apple monitor apps that constantly crash and never work properly? If you look at all the comments for this app the last one was 2011. Good thing mine will be at the very top to warn users away from this program. Go with something reputable like Djay or any other app where the developers actually put out updates to help improve their product. In this case it looks like they forgot all about VirtualDJ. Maybe the don’t want to be reminded of how poorly a program this really is.

The retina macbook pros have been out long enough for virtualdj to resize a few images. Its not a difficult thing to do, they just have to supposrt it. All the buttons are pixilated on retina macbook pros.

I used to use this app all the time but now that I updated my OSX to Mountain Lion its constantly crashed since. Please fix! Error invalid skin in the xml

How hard is it to update the app to make it higher quality for the macbook pros with retina displays?? I spent an arm and a leg for the retina display and then it looks like crap because of apps like this that do not update.

This app doesn’t work!! I paid for the Broadcaster version and it doesn’t work either. Just crashes and they have no updates to fix their bugs. Go and buy DJay!

This app is awesome. I have played with baically the same program at Guitar Center and they want several hundreds of dollars for it. Not professional quality by any means. However, if you would like to use it to mix some things for yourself, your friends, or your parties; I highly recoomend this app. Great Job!!!!

i love it so much no i can make song with chipmunk voices. love it so much cant figure out how to do two songs at once

I use this app pretty often. It’s really nice that it’s free, so props to the developer. However, I only gave it three stars because I had a newer version of the app that I got used to and really liked, then the new version wasn’t working like normal, so I deleted it and proceeded to download it back onto my mac, needless to say I became bitter when I got the old version that isn’t as conveniant and simply, better. It is an affordable (duh), functional app, I am just upset that the new version didn’t come back. I recommend this as a recreational dJay app.
